I have a joie de vivre and positive attitude to life and will make you laugh. My friends say I am kind, sometimes serious but also fun and very intuitive. I have been called a sapiosexual (turned on by an intelligent mind and words first).
I love the arts and I paint for my own enjoyment.
I really enjoy good theatre particularly fringe, almost all music but mostly classical), walking in nature or exploring a city. I like good food and wine and love my e-bike. I go to the gym, enjoy yoga and Pilates and swimming in the ocean when I can. I am very self contained so can be on my own very happily but also happy to be sociable. I have a lot of friends but they know I need my quiet down time too. I also travel as much as I can because it constantly broadens one’s horizons. I backpacked round the world solo for a year at 46. I do volunteering work for a local Arts Society doing their posters, flyers and publicity.

I would like to meet someone tall (I am quite tall) who is empathetic and sensitive. Someone who can mix with all different types of people and doesn’t have narrow views on life. Compassion and kindness is something I value. Someone who is positive and up for any new adventure (in the best possible meaning). Perhaps someone who also loves travel and has the wherewithal to do so, ie an equal. I have always enjoyed visiting gardens wherever I go and it would be fun to meet someone who enjoyed that too. Someone who enjoys conversations on poems, lyrics, music and the arts.
